SEA SIREN Ridden by Carlos Sanchez
JANUARY WORKOUT
JANUARY WORKOUT
[/size]Ren had good break off the tracks he was able to act like a horse for his time being. Now, it was time to get back to work as this triple crown colt would soon enter the big time race in the future. He needed some more experience in the level would attempt to run the first race if needed. Carlos came to his stall and fed the small colt some oats as a treat for the day. "Hey Siren ready to face the tracks again?" The Jock said pulling him out of the stalls and headed out to the saddle area.
The three year old was high on energy and the bay colt was ready for this run. Saddling the horse was easy he was eager to get out there to run with his human on his back. Carlos approached the horse's side gently and jumped to get onto his back. He aided the colt to the entrance of the dirt track as Sea Siren began to prance for joy to see the track in his sights again. He blew through his nostrils and gave a soft nicker while he felt the wind to his muzzle.
Carlos knew Sea Siren quite well he was one of the horses here at Bowen Acres. He had the colt come to a soft run across the first turn of the track so he wouldn't pull any muscles or hurt himself. Like a stretching workout before a soccer game the colt needed it. As it was finished the colt felt the urge from his jockey and then came to a full gallop along the back stretch as he breezed so greatly with his tail raised for happiness. Ren was doing what he was born to do and he would show off his potential to his competitors.
The colt took close strides and Carlos was surprised the colt didn't trip over his own feet when he ran. The horse was a wild one in the paddocks and he would certainly find his inner calling on the tracks as he usually did. "Woo look at you go." He said as he stayed lowered so no dirt would physically hit him in the face as the colt ran. When the colt breezed passed the last turn with a rush that the colt was pulled back by Carlos so he wouldn't push himself when it wasn't needed.
This workout had felt good and after he passed the wire the colt would be retrieved back to the stables and to his normal feeding time to be ready for the race this week. He would be ready for this race and the two would take any position. The colt was well pumped and now would be ready for what was to come.
